CJS OHS - Occu Health Specialist (Occupational Health and Safety)
1. Health and safety system implementation
Assist with developing safety systems as well as risk management assessments and policies for the company
including procedures
2. System maintenance
Updating of legislation and maintenance of your management system. Critical analysis Continuous
assessment and analysis of all procedures and systems implemented –
the systems that needs to be attended to and execute required action
3. Site visits & audits
These visits will be conducted by criteria and follow ups to be done and action plans created.
Determine priority areas and enhance areas of concern. Ongoing safety meetings and reviews with guidance
and be in attendance with a registered safety officer / representative.
4. Health and safety consulting for principal contractors and sub-contractors.
5. Compile Health and safety files for contractors that is site specific to their projects and scope of work.
6. Conduct or attend monthly legal compliance audits on behalf of all our clients as required by
legislation.
7. Attend monthly health and safety meetings on behalf of our clientele.
8. Co-ordinate medical fitness examination required for our clients employees.
9. Recruitment of all health and safety personnel required by our clients.
10. Facilitate all health and safety training requirements needed by our clients, safety representative,
first aider, fire fighter, working on heights and more.
